What is AMCAT?
AMCAT means Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptive Test. It is a test that tests the aptitude, technical skills, mental capability, and reasoning skills of the candidates aspiring for a job in the top MNCs. It is conducted as a standard aptitude test by Aspiring Minds Assessment Private Limited. Through which different types of skills of a potential candidate can be measured and compared. Eligibility Criteria
AMCAT is an Employability Test that certifies a candidate’s skills and presents a candidate’s qualification in a standard form to an employer. Therefore, any candidate who has a valid diploma, graduation, post-graduation, and doctoral degree, they are eligible to appear in this examination there is no fixed or maximum age limit to sit in this exam. Also, the number of sitting in this exam is also not fixed. But the candidates giving keep a gap of at least 3 months between the two exams.
This exam provides a detailed report card to the candidates in which the merit and demerit of the candidate are equally described. It tells the candidate in which areas they are very good and according to the industry standard which areas need improvement? AMCAT Exam Schedule
There is no fixed date, time & program of this Test. But it is organized in about 32 cities every month throughout India. The frequency of examination varies from one city to another city depending on the number of candidates appearing for the test. Tests for cities like Bangalore and Hyderabad, the IT hub of the country, are conducted more often than in other cities.
What After AMCAT?
After giving this test, candidates can log in to their accounts and view or download their scorecard from the official website. After its final profile score is available, it is sent by the admin to companies that are looking for candidates with the required skill sets. Based on the score of the candidate, the interview call will start coming to the candidate from the recruiters. The higher the score of the candidate, the greater the call for the interview will be. 90+ marks are generally considered a respectable score for according Standard.
Companies hiring on the basis of scores include large companies, medium-sized companies, and even new companies like start-ups. Therefore, the candidates have plenty of job options.
AMCAT Syllabus
